Sovah Health announced that Carlos Pottinger, MD has joined its medical staff effective September 1 and will be providing Obstetrics and Gynecology care at PATHS in Danville.

Dr. Pottinger received his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine (Bridgetown, Barbados), completed his residency at Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA), and received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida (Tampa FL). As an obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Pottinger specializes in reproductive health, family planning, prenatal care and deliveries, peri-menopausal and menopausal issues, and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. He is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Florida Medical Association.
