Dr. Terry Odom is originally from Robbinsville North Carolina and has been with Dominion Eye Center since 1984.  His bachelors degree was obtained from the University of Tennesee and he remains a loyal Volunteers fan today. He completed his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest in 1979. Dr. Odom completed two internships first at the University of South Florida School of Medicine followed by the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Hospital in Columbia South Carolina as a research assistant. His residency was accomplished at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. At Dominion Dr. Odom specializes in general ophthalmology cataract surgery and glaucoma surgery. Dr. Odom has served on several medical missions including trips to Nicaragua China and Kenya. He lives in Greensboro with his wife Susan. They have three daughters and four grandchildren. Outside of ophthalmology Dr. Odom is very involved with his local church disciples a group of high school young men and enjoys joggling (juggling while jogging).
