Once a cancer diagnosis has been confirmed, our cancer team confers to plan the best course of treatment for the patient. This team includes pathologists, surgeons, radiologists, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists. Our physicians follow the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) for diagnosis, staging and treatment. Treatment may involve surgery, chemotherapy or radiation, or a combination of these approaches.

In collaboration with surgery, pathology and radiation oncology, our medical oncology & hematology department provides initial diagnosis, planning and leading-edge tratment and post-treatment follow-up of patients with cancers or blood disorders. Our radiation oncology program offers compassionate, state-of-the-art cancer treatments including 3D conformal, IMRT (intensity modulated radiotherapy) and IGRT (image guided radiation therapy) the Varian linear accelerator targets tumors without harming the surrounding healthy tissue.
