Sovah Health today announced that Garrett Beatty, DO has joined the Sovah Medical Residency Program at Sovah Health. A recent graduate of the program, Dr. Beatty will be educating and supervising resident physicians as well as treating patients at the Sovah Family Medicine Residency Clinic in Danville.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Beatty to our team of distinguished faculty,” said Amber Fedin, DO, Director of Medical Education at Sovah Health. “Not only has he lived and worked as a resident for the past three years, but Dr. Beatty also served as Chief Resident, so he is well known and respected by our residents, faculty members, physicians and patients.”
Trish Veneto, Senior Director of Physician Services at Sovah Health, echoed these sentiments. “Sovah Physician Practices is excited to make Dr. Beatty a permanent fixture within our clinic. He has a strong passion for providing high quality and compassionate care for patients in the Danville community.”
Dr. Beatty received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (Erie, PA) and completed his family medicine residency at Sovah Health. In addition to serving as Chief Resident, he was also a member of the residency beautification committee and the hospital credentialing committee at Sovah Health. Dr. Beatty is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.
