Sovah Health today announced that nurse practitioner Annette Minter, NP has joined Sovah Physician Practices and will be providing specialty care for pulmonary and sleep medicine at Sovah Pulmonology - Danville.
“We are excited to welcome Annette to our team of providers at Sovah Physician Practices,” said Trish Veneto, Senior Director of Physician Services at Sovah Health. “Annette has worked for many years as a registered nurse at our hospital, so we are proud to welcome her back in this new role at one of our clinics. Her experience and education, combined with her passion for her patients, will help us expand our sleep medicine program to meet the healthcare needs of our region.”
Annette received her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Virginia (Charlottesville, VA). She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, VA). She is certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and a member of the American Nurses Association. In her free time, Annette enjoys singing in her church choir at County Line Baptist Church.
At Sovah Health Pulmonology - Danville, Annette will be working alongside pulmonologist Dr. Kimberly Bird and nurse practitioner Kim Grossman in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with sleep behavior disorders, shift work disorders, sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, and restless leg syndrome. She will also work with the other providers to provide general pulmonology care and follow-up. Annette is accepting new patients, and appointments may be made by calling 434.792.4378.
