Kayla Quesinberry originally wanted to be a nurse, but one day went to the local rescue squad, and was hooked!  Kayla is a paramedic in Patrick County and 1^st LT at Fieldale-Collinsville Rescue Squad (FDRS).  One of the best perks of EMS is not having the same work routine every day.  No day is the same and you never know what the day will entail.  More than that, her closest friends are in EMS and have become like brothers and sisters to her.  The people are undoubtedly the best part!

Kayla is a mother of 3 toddlers, so outside of work she keeps herself busy with family.  She feels very blessed to be able to do what she loves every day – caring for her family and her community.
