Sovah Health announced that Varun Kumar, MD, has joined its medical staff and is offering cardiovascular services for patients at Sovah Heart & Vascular – Danville.

Dr. Bavyer received his Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in India. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency, Non-Invasive Cardiology Fellowship, & General Clinical Cardiology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center in North Chicago, Illinois.

As a general cardiologist, Dr. Bavyer specializes in diagnostic testing, general cardiology, arrhythmias, heart failure, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, peripheral artery disease, and peripheral veinous disease.
