Sovah Health – Danville is proud to honor Hazel Lewis, RN, as a recipient of The DAISY Award® For Extraordinary Nurses, a national recognition celebrating nurses who go above and beyond to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Lewis, a veteran nurse in inpatient rehabilitation, was nominated by a patient who experienced both her clinical expertise and the compassion she brings to every interaction. Throughout their care, Lewis created a sense of comfort and reassurance, consistently making the patient feel supported, even during busy moments.
