Sovah Health – Danville Announces BEE Award Winner

July 27, 2026
Grace Kelly Bradner, Clinical Associate at Sovah Health – Danville, was recently honored with The BEE Award for going above and beyond in support of a patient during her hospital stay. The BEE Award recognizes support staff members who go above and beyond to create a positive and compassionate experience for patients, families and colleagues.

Bradner was nominated by a patient who praised her attentiveness and compassion. The patient shared that Grace assisted with bathing and changing her linens after noticing she needed attention.

“This CNA was so attentive and treated me with care and concern,” the patient wrote. “Grace observed how I was needing attention and said, ‘Don’t worry I will take care of you.’ We need more people like her who care.”

The BEE Award was established to recognize support staff members who consistently go above and beyond in providing compassionate care and outstanding teamwork. Alongside the DAISY Award, which honors nursing staff, the BEE Award celebrates non-nursing team members who make a meaningful difference in the patient experience.

“Grace’s compassion and commitment to providing exceptional care embody the values we strive to uphold every day at Sovah Health, “said Shelly Cordum, Market Chief Nursing Officer at Sovah Health. “Her willingness to go above and beyond to ensure patients feel cared for and respected reflects the vital role our clinical associates play in delivering an outstanding patient experience.”
